You will need to provide the full name the
property ownership is in and the parcel #
Please note if the property ownership is not listed
in your name on the county property records then you do not own the land
until you get the county to put the land in your name. This means
if a relative or friend left you a lot, it is not yours to sell until
you get the county to take it out of the current ownership name and put
it into your name. This means you have to contact the county to
find out what has to be done to get it in your name.
Be warned the county may say: We cannot give
out legal advice.
So many times people try to sell land that they do
not own in their name yet.
